I know why Mark called me up today because he knows how much I enjoy the cold weather, how much I enjoy the snow. And he's like, you know, and he's going to enjoy filling in as we kick off Snow McGadden, 2026. And I think that's pretty awesome. So welcome into it. It is Armed American Radio's Daily Defense. I'm Andy Hoosier sitting in the seat today for Mark Walters. He is, he called me up today and he said he's preparing his Georgia home for the Snowmageddon because down south, you all don't know how to deal with the snow. And apparently there's going to be a big freak out with the way the things are looking. So here in Kansas, we're kind of sort of used to it,

but really not as bad as what we're expected to get. Dude, we could get 12 to 15 inches of snow between tonight and tomorrow. Yikes. Yeah, which now here's the thing. Growing up in Colorado, that's not a lot. In fact, we'd I would walk. I had to walk about a, I don't know, three quarters of a mile to a mile to the bus stop when I was in school. And it's not like the, I have to walk up hill both ways. I mean, it's not like that. I literally had to walk almost a mile to the bus stop because we lived all the way up on this tippy top peak of a mountain and had to walk down this dirt road before I got my driver's license. And there are times in Colorado, and it's really because it's so fluffy, that there would be two feet of snow on the ground, and they're like, yeah, you're good. Just go ahead and walk it. So we just had to trench through it all. Well, you grew up as little brothers to Gen X, and we all had the same upbringing where it was uphill both ways and three feet of snow. What are you talking about? Yeah. I mean, we're kind of used to it. And then when I got my car, it was fun sliding down the mountain with a two. It was awesome. I'm going to give a shout out here. My 1996 Pontiac Grand Dam, my little two-door car, front wheel drive. I never, ever got stuck in the snow with that car. I would love doing my little two-door car front wheel drive i never ever got stuck in that in the snow with that

car i would love doing my little burnouts and controlled slides down the mountain sliding down it

2:41.3

with you know 500 foot drop off on the side of the mountain it was awesome i loved it and uh i really

2:46.8

miss that car i need to get another one of those but nonetheless yeah i don, I don't mind the snow. It's really going to be the cold.

2:52.3

And we were just talking off the air a little bit. Greg, you guys were already getting rain. So you're getting like a layer of the water that's going to turn ice before you get the snow. That's just going to take things to a whole different level down there in Texas. And you're not used to that stuff. No, we don't snowplow.
