Today we are talking about the model three all-wheel drive

configuration, as well as model S and model X

being recognized in a survey of Dream Cars.

Tesla stock on Friday closed up 1.58% to $350.2 as compared to the NASDAQ up 0.55%.

On the week, Tesla was up 3.2% compared to the NASDAQ up 0.3%.

Supercharger network update, we are currently at 1,142 supercharging locations

with new stations opening up in Washington, Michigan, and Ontario.

On Saturday, Tesla registered 19 new Vins with NHTSA for Model 3,

and these Vins were actually dual motor all-wheel drive Vins.

You can tell this because the 8th digit in the VIN

is a B rather than an A. A signifies single motor and B signifies dual motor all-wheel drive.

The timing of this registration also coincides with Tesla updating their configuration

process for the model three. The configurator is just a little bit different now

than it was before and it looks like it gives a little bit more flexibility for

Tesla to add options into there such as a different interior type or the dual motor all-wheel drive as well.

That design studio update also included an image of the dual motor power train in the back end code.

For a while now, Tesla has also been communicating spring 2018 as the date for at

least the beginning of configuration opening up for dual motor all-wheel drive in model 3 configuration

invitation emails.
