One of the old guard has decided to walk away,

not going to perform anymore in the NFL.

And we're, of course, talking about Philip Rivers.

If you've been in a box, a shoe box somewhere, you might have missed it.

I don't know how you could have missed it if you paid any attention, but maybe you did.

So Philip Rivers, who spent the last season with the Indianapolis Colts, losing in the playoffs to Buffalo.

And he had, of course, been the franchise staple for the old San Diego Chargers.
