Welcome back, our number two Kentucky sports radio here at the KS bar and grill where you can come out and have lunch trivia tonight. Get on in. That's right. Apparently, I didn't realize this apparently they are doing reservations tonight.

So you can call and get some. Okay. If you need it, I didn't know they were doing that. So if you want to make, I mean, it's you can also come first come closer, but if you want to get some reservations, you can call the phone number, which of course I never remember.

But all right, one through nine, Shannon, two, two, the basketball, Benny lineup. Evan, Mara Kayama, who does efficiency ratings says that the basketball, Benny lineup, which is Wallace, Frederick, Reeves,

Toppins and Oscar is the most efficient lineup in college basketball and the most efficient lineup of any team since 2020. That's crazy.

Crazy. That was right there in front of us. And it only played 20 possessions until the Tennessee. Now, of course, that's going to change. Like I'm already waiting for the game where those guys don't play well for a little bit. People go, see, Matt, that line of eeb.

But and the sample size is small enough that will change, but it's clear it's still a really good lineup, no matter what, can you believe though, Drew, the most efficient lineup in all of college basketball in the last three years.

It's hard to see those numbers and know that Kentucky wasn't even trying it at all except those 20 possessions. And then you wonder, well, if it had been working all along, maybe you beat, you know, Michigan State.

Yeah, you beat South Carolina. You might have beaten UCL A. So I mean, like you kind of got ran off before you wouldn't have beaten Gonzaga or Alabama. Maybe you would have even beaten Missouri. I mean, like you would have it be a different season.

But go ahead. I mean, we've all been pretty negative this year. That's been my main thing all years. There seems to be some obvious lineups that weren't even tried. I don't know if they work. I'm not a coach. Maybe they won't work, but I couldn't believe he wasn't trying certain things.

The other one being Livingston at the four. I'd still love to see him being the four with that group. If Topin's not playing well, I don't know if we ever see that, but I just can't believe it took till January 17th or whatever Tuesday night was to even really give that a full opportunity and then see it work.

Just there's so many what ifs if it's been had been playing all on. First of all, I love the fact we call it the basketball mini lineup. Well, that's me calling it and some people have said, by the way, I've had people say to me, Matt, it's rude of you to call it that I respectfully disagree with anyone that says that he for 10 years has used the phrase basketball mini as a light teasing of our fans saying you all think you know so much and all this, but your basketball bennies. Well, in this case, the basketball bennies were right.

So I think it is gently teasing back to go that the basketball bennies were right. So I disagree that you can't say that but go call the bennie five just to shorten it.

I love it. And the think about how efficient this offense was when Frederick and Reeves went to of 10 from from threes. They still haven't had a game where that lineup has really all played well. Yeah, that well Knoxville case of Austin score in Knoxville. So wait till it all finally comes together like that and see how good this team can be.
