Good morning and welcome the kid news. I'm Kim, today is Wednesday, January 18th, 2023.

And we begin with the guessing games surrounding the future of football's greatest quarterback

0:11.4

in high gear. Tom Brady, winner of seven Super Bowls and holder of countless records, crashed

0:17.7

out of the playoffs Monday night in what was for him spectacular fashion. The game was

0:23.0

never close and he didn't look anything like the Tom Brady of football legend. Will he

underwater conditions. Then attempted it with human-made sounds added. Scientists found that not only

1:28.4

did the dolphins make louder and longer sounds when the water was noisy, but they also changed their

1:34.0

body language to face each other. And when they had to compensate for strange sounds,

1:38.8

they weren't as successful at completing the task. The studies, say those involved,

1:43.2

is to help humans learn the importance of managing ocean noise, especially for sea creatures

who are highly social and rely on interaction. Ben Franklin would be proud. Hundreds of years

after his invention of the lightning rod, scientists have finally found a way to improve on it.
