We've got some crazy stuff happening right now in Minnesota, and Trump is actually rattling Minnesota with a threat to deploy U.S.

troops under the 1807 law as ICE, violence ignites streets.

Now, the crazy part about this is it's not getting any better in Minnesota, it's getting worse.

Donald Trump has threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act to deploy U.S. military forces in Minnesota as protests escalate around federal immigration enforcement.

The Insurrection Act gives the president the legal authority to deploy military forces on U.S. soil to quell civil disobedience.

It was first invoked by President Thomas Jefferson in 1807 to deal with a plot to create a separate nation in the American West.

It was used in earnest as late as 1863 in the gangs of New York movie depicted it in which the United States military, including the United States Navy,

shelled New York City and the five points.

Some people would restimate there were tens of thousands of people killed.

They said, a lot of people say that they don't know how many had been killed.

And basically the military had just chased, you know, the Union Calvary.

The Confederate had won a big war south of the south of there,

and they were then redeployed 10,000 troops from the Army of the Potomac

who had just finished chasing Lee's army back to Virginia,

arrived in New York, and they were furious.

They were enraged to have defeated an army of secessionists,

only to find a rebellion in their backyard.

The soldiers were not delicate with rioters.

They used rifles, artillery, cavalry, and naval bombardment.

The army battered the bob back into the five points, killing, maiming, and wounding as it went.

They did not provide quarter to any of the Americans.
