And a jury in 2018 found him guilty for abusing two kids while he was Archbishop of Melbourne in the 90s.

So at least the church did something about it.

It had, I mean, he was one of the most senior, actually the most senior cleric was ever

been jailed for child abuse.

And keep in mind that the protection that the church up to the popes had for accused child molesters.

And I'm talking about Pope John Paul II.

He's a saint.

He also protected child molesters.

Pope Benedict XVI, who just died a little while ago, protected child molesters.
