Now, our other top story. There's been a court victory for Tennis Star Novak

Jokovic, but this time in a court of law. A Monday on Australian judge ordered the government

to release him from hotel detention and restore his visa. Australia has very strict rules that

require everyone who enters their borders to be vaccinated for COVID. But the Serbian

athlete who is not vaccinated said he had COVID last month. So he was granted an exemption

by Australia's tennis association and the state of Victoria, where the Australian

Open will be played next week. However, federal border officials overruled that exemption

when Jokovic landed in the country last week. Now he's free to go, but the saga may

not be over just yet. The country's immigration minister says he may exercise his powers

and cancel Jokovic's visa a second time.

The Winter Olympics starting just over three weeks and the host country, China, is taking

no chances with COVID. The city of Gian, with 13 million people in the north central

part of the country had a breakout of the virus and has been under strict lockdown for

nearly three weeks. Some residents can't even go out for food and promised food deliveries

are not reliable. Even though this city is about 600 miles from the Olympic host city

of Beijing, China has a firm zero tolerance policy with the virus and there is a tremendous

amount of national pride and investment riding on the success of the games. The Olympics

are set to start February 4th and last for two weeks through February 20th.
