Good afternoon everybody and welcome to Invest Talk. It is Thursday January 9th

2020 and of course the news is always changing and always coming out and

we've been calming calming everything down from the missiles a couple of days ago.

Market didn't seem to bother the market at all. I mean, market was up again pretty strong today.

So market could care less. You know I've always thought that the market is

smarter than individual people's. They seem they seem to you know instinctively know I don know, maybe it's just the group of all the investors just kind of know what's going to happen and what's going on.

I don't know.

Anyways, if you're a serious investor you got to really take a look at your

portfolio even regardless of what it does in a day-to-day basis you want to keep it balanced

this is the time of the year the end of the This is the time of the year, the end of the December, beginning of January,

time of the year that you look at the portfolio and see if anything's out of whack. If you know you've had a very good

year in some stocks and a bad year and others that means your

your balance is off. So what do you do? Do you buy more of the stuff that went down or

do you sell off some of the one up or a combination of both? You just want to keep it in balance as best you can.

I mean you don't want to you don't want to, there's an old saying don't cut your

water your weeds and cut your flowers.

In other words, just because it's going up,

you doesn't mean you cut back.
