Today we are talking about a new electric vehicle Cannonball record,

a model 3 review from a BMW fan, new highest vins, and Tesla inventory.

Tesla stock on the day closed up 2.95% to $320.53

this compared to the Nasdac up 1.50%. So obviously a very strong day for Tesla

but I think probably mostly driven by the macro environment

There were a number of different stocks that were up in that two to three percent range including

Invidia Facebook Snapchat Twitter So many text stocks up in a similar fashion to Tesla on the day.

Supercharger network update, we are currently at 1,128 supercharging locations with

our first station of 2018 being added in Portugal.

In the news today, Alex Roy of the Drive.com has partnered with a brand new model 3 owner to do a

cannonball run across the United States.

For those unfamiliar, that's just a straight coast-to-coast drive

generally from LA to New York. The interesting thing here other than the fact that

this occurred in a model three is that with the time of 50 hours and 16 minutes, this set a record for Cannonball runs in electric vehicles.

Previously, the record was unsurprisingly with a model S in 51 hours and 47 minutes.

So rather quickly, the model 3 has already taken that fastest

cannonball crown for EVs.

And I think also interestingly, this time should be easily

topped in more favorable traveling conditions
