midweek peak. Steve, good morning. How are you? Sam, I'm doing pretty well. I know that I'm

going to be better than what Michigan State's going to feel like on Saturday night. Maybe not

as good as the Detroit Lions felt on Monday night as everybody now thinks the Lions are the best

team in the NFL. Really? They think that everyone thinks that? Everyone's in a bad guy now.

Okay. Okay. Hyperbole. Hyperbole. But the win over the Buccaneers has got a lot of people

changing their mind about the lions after

losing to Kansas City now thinking they're the best team in football.

I mean, listen, Steve, I love it.

I love it.

I love to see it.

I want to believe it.

I want folks, other folks, to get on the train, as my man Vance likes to say.

So let's go. Let's go, people.

But Sam, I mean, how could you not be surprised at what Kelvin Shepard did with that secondary against the Bucs? And the thing is, the Bucks, yeah, they're a little bit short-handed offensively, but all season long,

they have shown that they are a powerhouse with Baker Mayfield, possible NFL MVP, a lot of

fourth quarter comebacks. And Tampa Bay just didn't have it against a secondary that was completely depleted

and played absolutely lights out. I mean, I think everybody thought it was going to be a

shootout. It ended up being a low scoring game. And the Lions defense, I still continue to

shake my head that the secondary played that well.

Yeah, it was like they were lights out.
