In light of Hurricane Sandy, there's not much bird story to tell this week.

But when things get a bit more back to normal, there'll be some bird.

The devastation that we've seen in the pictures, the images on TV, has not stopped for a lot of New York and New Jersey.

So please, if you can, give some money to the Red State. Red

State, Woo. Red Cross. They're going in their relief effort to help out the Sandy affected areas of New Jersey that are still without power, without water. In New York, there's an organization called Occupy Sandy.

They're doing clothes drives and water drives and batteries pulling stuff together for the good

folks of that of the New York area.

In New Jersey, there are various efforts being put together by Governor Christie.

There's a website.

I think I saw that his wife, the first lady of New Jersey, Mary Pat, I believe her name is,

was saying you can donate money to, to affect the areas right there in Jersey.

So if you can donate clothes, old clothes, blankets,

batteries, water, bottle water. A lot of people are saying, where do you donate it? Don't take it to

the police department. Don't take it to the fire department. We've seen a lot of reports of people

being turned away with the police department. Fire department have enough to worry about right now. They're like, we're not the closed people. For example, near Highlands,

at the top of the hill in Highlands, most of Highlands, New Jersey is still shut down, but at the top

of the hill in Highlands, they're collecting food, some perishables, but mostly clothing in the the old gym up at ol p hr lady of perpetual

help so uh there are lots of places like that collecting uh materials for the folks who were

without because remember uh if you've seen some of the images just imagine the ocean swallowing your

home and everything you own. You got nothing

to wear but the clothes or what are already on your back. So, Americares.org, Salvation Army,
