Hello, Van Lifers, and welcome to the ninth episode of Campers and Vans getting coffee.

I really enjoyed talking to these guys.

It was Matt and Megan, also known as the Dirty Darling on Instagram and their website,

the dirty darlings.com.

They're super fun. They met in San Francisco

about a year and a half ago. And on their first date, Matt just laid everything out and

said that he had already bought a van and he wanted to live in a van. Eventually, he asked Megan to

join him. And then nine months later, they were on the

road together. So we talk about that. We getting into like kind of what their goals were at the

beginning, which was kind of hitting all 50 states and six months to kind of find a place to live,

but didn't really work out the way they wanted it to. They kind of changed things up because they

just wanted to, you know, relax and enjoy the journey a little bit more. So we talk about that,

why they decided to do that. And we get into like a whole bunch of stuff, like how they were

kind of able to transition their jobs into remote work and continue that. So we talk about why

and how they were able to do

that and how you can do it too. We talk about why Matt decided to buy a van that was already

converted rather than buy one and convert himself. And then this is pretty cool also because

Megan is an accountant. So she gets into kind of the

details and some numbers on how much van life actually costs. So that's pretty cool. And we talk

about like how to get the best LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, just a whole bunch of really cool stuff.
