And so obviously most of our attention of late, it focused on Michigan, on the Lions

is their season, starts and started with the, against the backdrop of the

mega deal that commanded not only the attention of the NFL, but all those sports,

with Michael Parsons going to the Green Bay Packers, and then the Lions opening the season

and against the Packers and the Packers

looking like a different team, right?

And it put into focus just the relatively speaking inactivity in the face of a championship run of the Lions front office.

There's an approach.

You know, you build from within.

You nurture and develop your guys, and that should be good enough.

I draft and develop your guys and, you know, that should be enough.

And you wonder if you can do it that way, or do you have to extend?

Do you have to maybe make an aggressive move?

Do you have to do what they do, what the other people do, at least a bit of it in order

to get over the hump? And I'd argue, I think that you do. I think you got to do a little bit of

that. And that has not just been my contention with the Lions, but also with the Tigers. As we, Zair has been talking about a bit this morning, this series with the Guardians.

There was a time where they seemed uncatchable, where the lead seemed too wide, a cavernous gap.

It seemed like there was just no way.

The Tigers were going to be threatened in the Central and not only has been cut to four and a half games.
