It's always great to be the mayor, but on a day like today, the day after, the first day after the hammer didn't fall. It's an even better day to be the mayor.

Scott, how you doing this morning? I'm doing great as always. Happy to be here. Yeah, man. So they kept

talking about this hammer, Scott. They kept saying it's going to drop.

I know you were among those of us who said they are having, their wet dreams are manifesting

on social media left and right. The Buckeyes were following along. Some Spartes wanted to be

relevant were starting to parrot that as well.

They were left disappointed on Friday, Scott. It seemed they can't accept the reality that, you know, the

grip was real. They actually thought that this was going to come to reality, and here we are. Reality

looked much different.

It most certainly did and it's kind of bittersweet because in a selfish way for 22, 23 straight months to hear them just convince themselves and work this up into this alternate reality

of the hammers coming. This is going to happen.

All this great thing is going to happen. You kind of knew how this is going to play out, and it was

kind of fun to just see them go through all these motions. But even that, for as long as it

played out, almost got a little old. So I'm almost excited they're saved for themselves now that they've been

vaulted back into reality, but they've they've been surrounded with these facts and in all

the everything that's going on here for now. So I think even if there is that verdict and that finality to it, which came last week,

who knows if they'll even accept that as truth. So it skews somewhat the perspective,

the lack of postseason ban, the lack of games being stricken from the record, it skews the perspective on what the punishment actually was.

It makes the national perspective come off as if, hey, Michigan got off.

When if that was never your expectation, this seems like, wait, they got hit kind of hard.

At least that was my reaction, which is why I said right away, hey, Michigan's going to appeal this,
