It was during the break. I think it was the Detroit News, Lynn Hennie.

It's talking about how the tigers really don't have much say in the matter that they,

that him hitting free agency is inevitable.

That may be Ira. That may be, Ira.

It may be the case that no matter what, Scott Boris is going to have his client go to free agency. There's no number that the Tigers can put

on the table right now

that will prevent that from happening.

You buy that. I think

just knowing the history

of Scott Boris

that probably is the case because Terrick

Scoobal is the best pitcher of baseball.

And the best pitcher in baseball on the open market is going to have the Dodgers and the

Dodgers and the Yankees drive his number up to being the highest it could possibly

be. So why wouldn't you do that? Part of me believes that. And yet, and yet, does one more year, this is the argument,

does one more year of payday, couldn't that make a difference?

Like if you, if you were going to pay him $50 million a year to sign that contract one year. Wouldn't it be worth it?
