Hey, so as we look around the national football league, so how does the Super Bowl race sort of shape up?

You know, you talk about the week one over reactions.

Are the Buffalo Bills, do they sudden, there are a lot of people, to be

clear, there are a lot of people saying the Buffalo Bills were the favorites to win for winning

the Super Bowl heading into the season.

But after they beat the Baltimore Ravens in week one, it seemed like, like, I mean, shooting

up the list, the Buffalo Bills are going to win the Super Bowl, right?

It was a miraculous comeback that really took some, a lot of assistance from the Baltimore

Ravens.

I mean, I read, your Ravens really had to assist them.

On the road, mind you.

I mean, they were, the bills were at home. You had to assist them. Yeah, it was right. With four and a half minutes to go, the Ravens had a 99% chance likelihood to win the game. They had to do enough things to fall, and they literally fumbled the game away. But Sam, I think it's really hard to pull just about anything out of one week's worth of football. But I think there are certain things when certain things go really poorly for teams. I think that that is somewhat of an indication. It doesn't mean things can't get a little better. But I think certain things early on are an indication. Like Buffalo's defense is going to have issues against mobile quarterbacks. I know Lamar is the extreme of that, but a lot of teams do. But Buffalo, they've got to be better on defense. The Ravens, same thing. But in particular, you've got to learn how to close out games because they have some record of like blowing double-digit leads in the John Harbaugh era. They have to figure out how to close out games. I don't think you can, if you want to overreact the entirety of week one, we're just going to get right back to where we started when the season started, where it's Philly, it's Buffalo, it's Baltimore, it's Kansas City. Is anybody else to enter the equation? Like it seems like we're just, week one is, give me two more weeks, Sam. Give me a little more sample size to actually, because you're right, everything that we have heard pretty much over the course of the last week,

including maybe some of your commentary about the offensive line, is all based on a week's worth of action where the guys barely played for the last month.

They've barely played it all. And you don't really know what your teams are until you're three weeks into season. Now you just take one or two weeks. Now it takes three, maybe four. Now you don't want to put yourself in a hole. You could get in a bet. For arguments sake, I don't think the Lions are losing on Sunday. I think the Lions are going to win by a couple of touchdowns on Sunday. But for argument's sake, you're not, you still haven't found yourself through two weeks and you lose that game at home. You can put yourself in a real bind. And I can use other examples to get away from Detroit as an example like that. Baltimore plays Cleveland home. Baltimore, you know, they stub their toe coming out of the block and they lose the game. You're in a real hole after two weeks of the season.

But the thing is, in a 17-week NFL season, everybody's kind of going through two or three weeks for the growing pains.

And so those first two or three weeks, it's just a matter of not falling too far behind.

but most things can be corrected over the course of a few weeks.
