WTKA online at the big 1050.com. And it is now time to remind all of you that it is time to gear your kids up for football season. 10 days to the start of the Michigan football season. Just what, eight days after that is the start of the lion season. So 18 days to the start of the lion season. Their last week of training camp is this week. Their final preseason game is Saturday at 1 o'clock down at Ford Field. And to tell you how to gear up your kids, I bring in a friend of mine, a friend of ours, Marcy Van Black, once upon a child. She and I used to be cubicle neighbors here at Cumulus, St. Arbor many, many, many years ago, way too many, many is now years ago. But Marcy is once upon a, she's not just from, she is Once Upon a Child here in Ann Arbor. So Marcy, good morning. How are you? Great to see you. Yeah, great to be here. So tell us about football season at Once Upon a Child. Well, we just did our kickoff this weekend and brought out all of our backstock inventory

and we're still buying more.

So I wanted to come on with you guys and remind the moms and dads that you want to get in here,

sell us what they've outgrown, kind of like Sherry just did, and then get what they need now.

Let me tell you what a great resource Once upon a child is if you have a child.

And Gracie is now going into seventh grade, and her legs in particular grow,

and her feet in particular, I guess, grow more so than, but it doesn't matter.

Every kid goes through sizes.

And you need to roll stock.

And when you go from one stock to the next and you want to maybe

make it a little bit more cost affordable, first of all, you can shop it once upon a child.

But the first part is take all those old good clothes, the ones that are still in good shape,

that are still in great shape, and you put them in a basket and you bring them to once upon

a child. And then your staff looks at them

and offers a value for them and then you can either store credit or take the cash.

Yeah.

And I'm pretty sure that there are some Michigan items of clothing at Once Upon a Child in

Ann Arbor right now on the east side of town, right just east of 23 on Washington.
