Sam Webb, Mr. Irointraub, you know Mike and I were talking about the Pistons and just a phenomenal season they had long stretches without Kay Cunningham, long stretches.

One long stretch earlier in the season where they didn't have Kate, they didn't have Jalen Duren, they didn't have Tobias Harris. Sam, in the last month, or give or take, their last 20 games, how many games did they have their full lineup? I guess, just guess, because Kate missed most of them. Yeah, not until the last few. Right. They went 15 and 5 in that stretch. Like, they found, it's, I mean, even earlier in the year, I remember a couple games, I want to say going back to like December or something and you're like, well, Cade's missing a couple games. Oh, and they don't have Dern and they find a way to win. And I know, like, the motivation level and regular season games fluctuation

from team to team and all that kind of stuff.

But you know who is motivated to play on a nightly basis?

The backups.

Right.

Right.

They're all playing for future contracts.

They're all playing for jobs down the road.

They're all playing for more minutes.

So when you get those guys out there, they're hungry.

And they served the pistons really well this season.

They did a great – I remember the one game.

They didn't have, like, their top six or seven scores, and they still found a way to – like, the guys gutted it out when they needed to.

And now how healthy are you?

Yeah, and they, again, confident in the guys, those reserve guys, like, they can play.

And sure you can get something here or there.

But I think the extended period of time where they had to depend on those guys has elevated this team.

Because now, Kay can be on the bench.

And it's, you feel like you aren't just buying time.

You feel like you can maintain whatever level you are.
