And it is, as you heard, the most wonderful time of the year for, what is it now, Ira, 18 years now on these airwaves, at least.

Something like that, 16, 17, 18 years?

Right.

And then 28 years here in this community, Debbie Williams-Hoke, former Michigan student athlete,

has been, I mean, an angel in this community, bringing Christmas holiday cheer to families in this community that otherwise wouldn't have it without her.

Young kids who come from circumstances where they wouldn't have a Christmas if if not for the the generosity of

her program going out and understanding the need and and filling that need with help from

from people in the community going out and shopping for Christmas gifts and clothing and delivering them on or in the Christmas season with help from the community and from officers in the community as well.

And with your help, listeners help, she's been able to do that as well.

And with help from people like we're going to talk to next, Celine, Chief of Police, Marlene Radzic joins us this morning.

Marlene, good morning. How are you?

Good morning. I'm great. How are you? Doing great and glad that you could join us.

And, you know, when we talk to Debbie, she always talks about her great support, her great,

she calls them her elves, but her great supporters.

And this has been a program that she says when she talks about the connective tissue that links it all together, it's it's the

connection that she has with police. The ability to not only link the you know, fill the needs

in the community, but also to change the perception that maybe the community has a police.

This program has really helped do those things.

And from your perspective, I wonder what it has meant and how you have seen it kind of

helped shape and change those things.

Yeah, well, I think it's a great program.
