You know, downtown Detroit, if you look at the evolution over the past couple of decades,

I mean, if you go into a tie machine and you go back 20, 30 years ago, you'd be like,

man, what is the future going to hold? And you ask someone, you say, man, I just don't see,

I don't see a future that's going to look very bright. And then you fast forward to now.

You're like, man, this is unbelievable.

Because downtown Detroit looks so different.

So much life, so much happening.

So many new buildings.

So many new events.

And then when you look at so much of the life new buildings, so many new events.

And then when you look at so much of the life and happening and party and enjoyment and excitement, and then when you see an event like the Detroit Grand Prix, something that

was a part of the past coming back to sort of signal the revival

and signal the excitement and the rebirth of what was and what's back again. It kind of signals

that revival and to tell that person that was back all those years ago that we're back,

yeah, that's a part of that excitement that's here.

Now the 35th annual Grand Prix event is upon us.

And joining us to talk about that this morning, that excitement that is upon us,

is the president of the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix, Michael Montreye.
