Michigan is the national champion in college basketball.

An unbelievable ride that team took us on.

There was another championship game that was played in between Michigan's final four triumph

and ultimate national championship victory.

There was the championship game on the women's side where UCLA won, the whole damn thing,

brought home another title for the Big Ten.

But, you know, one of the backdrops to that story was South Carolina.

South Carolina had gotten, they got ran, they got run in that game.

I don't think it had anything to do with what happened between Gene Oriama and

Dawn Staley in their final four matchup where South Carolina wound up taking care of

Yukon, quite handily, mind you.

And after the game, Gino Oriama just went, I mean, just, you know, entitlement, just

rude, just unprofessional, decided that he wanted to speak his mind to Dawn Staley about,

I don't know what.

I don't know what at the end.

I mean, he said she didn't shake his hand.

EA nailed it yesterday.

It's about control.

And Gino is now his control over women's college basketball has slipped away. And so he's up in his feelings a little bit. I think some of it was overplayed. I think Gino wasn't asked. And I think Don took the high road. And she had a great statement yesterday. But I think that's a big part of it is that Gino just, he wins. And when he doesn't win, I don't know if he really, he's not a good winner. He's not a good loser. He doesn't know how to, not that you initially want your coach to be a good loser necessarily, but did you see Dawn after UCLA won and how she talked about coach close and she's like, basically said, said, we took it on the chin.
