And folks, you know, we got a chance as, you know, it's funny when you talk about a a a particular story for so long

you know you kind of lose sight of some of the nuance on you know Mike was talking about the

you know the Drew Henson recruitment and I just you know all this was talking about the, you know, the Drew Henson recruitment.

And I just, you know, all this time, I wasn't really thinking about the circumstances

of that recruitment for Lloyd Carr.

Man, you know, when that recruitment started, so much was riding at the start of that recruitment.

So much was riding on getting that guy for him.

I mean, just think about the magnitude of getting him when that recruitment started.

By the time he gets to Michigan, the circumstances for Lloyd Carr are much different.

He's a national championship coach when Drew Henson gets there.

But when he gets the commitment, when Drew Henson, when he lands him, when he starts recruiting him and lands him, the circumstances are far different.

You know, he, of course, he gets the job, but it's like, man, the natives are restless

in maize and blue land.

It's a far different circumstance.

You sort of forget there, at least I did.

You know, I just not obviously remember who was there at the time, but you just got to lose sight of just how it wasn't just you got number one quarterback.

It's like, that's kind of, yeah, people were like, yeah, this is a big, big deal for your tenure too.

I like to look back at some of those stories, Sam, and think about how they would have survived

in the era of this constant communication, social media and everything else.

Because all these conversations that are magnified and multiplied because everyone has a voice
