And listen, folks, this is that fun time of year where Thursday's middle of the 8 o'clock hour, we get a chance to get our softball update, our diamond notes, if you will, with our friend Bonnie Toll,

Michigan softball coach. Bonnie, good morning. How are you?

I'm doing well, Sam, and exciting. I was just talking to Ira about this.

Exciting win last night for the women's basketball team and exciting weekend for the women's

swim and dive, exciting weekend for the Big Ten championship as well for men's basketball.

So there are a lot of great things happening around here.

So, you know, life is really good.

Yeah, I hear you.

And that can be infectious.

Everyone is trending up as well as that goes for Michigan softball as well as you guys went down to the Sundevil, Sun Devil Classic and did a great job, came back four and one.

And so let's kick things off talking about that very first day, which included a win

over the host team. So you came out and you took care of New Mexico State. And then a rally.

You know, a rally past the number 22 at the time, Arizona State Sun Devils, that had its share of excitement.

But let's start with New Mexico State where you got out the gates, got out the gates well

and won that one.

Well, you know, we want to set the tone.

And I think, you know, coming out, I want to say that we jumped ahead five to zero and, you know,

you know, the message there is that every, and every inning really does matter because they

did amount to come back. They came back and I think hit either a two-run homer or a three-run

homer, scored some runs against us. But did a nice job, but really set the tone early and just working on being consistent
