We're starting another week here on the Live Build Change Morning Mindset. I hope you are ready for another great day.

The Lord God is with you. He is on your side, and it's a great morning for you to get started

walking with him. And that's what these morning mindsets are about, is to help you get your mind

in the right place by setting it on truth.

And today we're going to talk about a passage that has meant a tremendous amount to my wife

and I, and we both kind of came to understand this passage separate from each other before we even

came together as a couple.

And the Lord has used this verse to really teach us a lot about what it means to follow him and even

more so what it means to follow his leading in his direction and that's a question

that is so pertinent to life.

We're always wanting to know if we're doing the right things, if we're doing what God has for

us to do, maybe you're thinking along those lines in your business, or with some decision in your family.

Well here's a passage that I think if you spend the time pondering in this, you spend the time

applying this.

Man, that's really where it is, isn't it, is in the application.

You will have new doors of opportunity opened up to you that you never knew were

possible. So let's look at it. It's Psalm 37 verse number four. You may have heard

this one a hundred times. I'm reading from the English standard version. It says

delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your

heart now when I first heard that passage I was like a lot of people. I felt like, okay, if I can delight myself in God enough, then he's going to give me what I want.

And as I've come to study the passage even more, I don't believe that's what it means.

It is one of those if-then kind of statements where if this happens, then this will happen. But the then is not what we
