It's time for Sam Webb's favorite segment of the week. The Top Dog of the Week with the Humane Society of Huron Valley on the Big 1050 WTCA. That's right. It is time for the top dog of the week with our friends from the Humane Society of Hereon Valley. And we welcome back to the show as we do each and every week. Wendy Welsh, Wendy, how are you? Hey, Ira, I'm great. How about you? I'm doing really well. It's always great to have you here on the show. Actually, of course, we will miss you next week for Thanksgiving. So it's great to have you here on the show this week. Before we jump into the top dog, the week we always ask, is it a love train week? Oh, love train weeks. I love, love train weeks. And yes, it's a love train week. Yay! Thank you. Yes, so we have dozens of puppies who will be available for adoption tomorrow when the Humane Society's here on Valley is open from 11 to 7. Today they're getting spayed neutered and microchipped and all ready to go to their new

homes, which hopefully they will find tomorrow or this weekend. And if you're interested

That is the love train. Of course, this segment is called the top dog of the week with the

Humane Society here on Valley. So tell us, Wendy, about this week's top dog.

Oh, Ira, I'm happy to tell you about Blanche. Blanche is an adorable dog. She is about eight years old, we think, about 56 pounds, mostly black

with some little hidden white spots on her. And she is what I'd like to call kind of a scaredy dog.

And some animals, you know, some dogs, when they are fearful, they act different ways. Some of them get really barky. Some of them get really, you know, forward because they, you know, want to tell other dogs back off of me.

Blanche is the exact opposite. She kind of retreats into herself. So Blanche is just a little sweetheart. You think that she's shy and she totally is and she comes out of her shell a bit when she gets to sniff around outside.

So she explores all that, but she just totally is just, I mean, there's no other word for Blanche really than sweet.

She's just super, super sweet like her little ears go bag. She just gets scared of things until she

gets used to them. And so we would love for someone to adopt Bland. She really deserves to be in a

home. Right now, she's actually in a foster home while she is awaiting her forever home. And she's

just adorable dog.
