It's time for Sam Webb's favorite segment of the week, the top dog of the week with the Humane Society of Huron Valley on the Big 1050 WTKN.

Indeed, it is my favorite segment of the week with one of my favorite people from one of my favorite places.

Wendy Welch from the Humane Society of Huron Valley joins us to talk about the top dog of the week to tell us about all the great things that are going on at the Humane Society of Huron Valley to reflect upon a great event as well.

I am fantastic, Sam.

How about you this morning?

I am doing great on this wet day.

So tell us how was, I mean, it was I'm expecting for you to give us a great report

on how great last weekend was.

How was it?

Oh, my gosh.

It was amazing, amazing, despite the fact that the weather was kind of similar to the

way that it is today.

There was, you know, the sun was shining through all the people, I got to tell you, because

we made our fundraising goal, which was incredible.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us or who donated online or you know express words of support

even we really really appreciate you because as you know sam the humane society of huron

valley runs off of the community so there's a misconception out there that humane societies are

linked and there's one big organization

that helps fund them all and gives them direction.
