A lot of Michigan talk this morning for obvious reasons.

We want to get a little Detroit Lions talk as well as a preseason action and scary,

scary occurrence in the game Friday night for those who are watching as a defensive back Maurice Norris goes down as he came up to make a hit

from a secondary and took a knee to the head, head and neck area.

His head sneps back as he goes up to make the tackle, he lie motionless on the field for

a long time, but was tended to almost immediately.

I mean, you talk about first responders responding extremely quickly.

You know, the players on the field took note of something being wrong, like, right away.

Now, first of all, I mean, the players, they know something is, they're the first to know when an injury is different like you can tell like we

watch it on tv you could kind of see the sense of urgency from the from the um the medical staff

uh you can see the kind of the the pace of how they were moving around there's a i don't want to

call it a frantic pace but there's an urgency with how they're of their movement and you could

tell it was serious and then when they came back, they were like you knew.

And they wouldn't show the replay.

So when I backed it up, backed up the tape, you could say, yeah, he took the knees

of the head and you're, you know, you're hoping his neck wasn't, you know, he didn't

sustain a really, really, really serious neck injury.

You know, you've heard different things.
