And so, Shamari, as you embark upon this fall camping, you get ready to really get in the mix.

0:42.9

You know, is it nervous energy?

0:45.7

I mean, it feels like you got a lot of that.

0:47.8

Maybe you got a lot of that out of the way with spring ball.

0:51.3

But do you still get nervous as you get ready to, to get started,

0:55.0

or, or is it just all excitement now? I get nervous for anything. Like, I always been like that. You said, I'm very confident, but I get nervous for it. I, if the game's a week out, I'll be nervous that whole week. I'm even moving in, I was nervous the whole two months before I'm moving like I had I'd just be nervous like but once I get there it goes away

0:54.3

I'm moving. Like I had, I'd just be nervous. Like, but once I get there, it goes away. I'm always nervous. It goes back and forth, really. One minute I'm nervous. One minute I'm excited. But, I mean, for fall camp, it's about out the way. I'm really just ready to just ball. Just go out there and play, not have so much of a thing in the last play, spring ball, just go out there

1:11.6

ball, make plays, just go out

1:28.5

there, ball, make plays, and just give it 100% so all I can really do.

1:32.8

I got you. So let's kind of set the stage for what fall camp and then into the season

1:40.0

will look like. If we look back over the spring, where would you say your biggest area of growth was from the beginning of spring ball to the end? Where did you grow the most? Where did you improve the most? I improved everywhere. I improved body wise, you know, mental. I want to say on the field, too. I definitely did improve a lot there. I mean, looking back on it, my press for, like, my press for up, just being the press, I feel a lot more comfortable being out there. Like, you know, when I got out there first to be on the island, I was really, really nervous. I'm thinking, oh, here's the call. Oh, this is this. I got called this. This is the check, this and that. But now when I'm off on the island, it's just, like, it's play.

2:00.9

Mm-hmm.

2:39.0

I'd definitely say that. You know, I get nervous pretty easier a lot. I said going out there first, like, I'd be really nervous, but now it's just, I know what I'm just, it's just like that now. All right, and then over the course of the summer, it's different. It's a different kind of prep and a different kind of sort of competition and practice. Where did you improve the most over the summer?

2:42.0

Definitely more in the playbook and body wise.

2:46.0

I definitely, I had gained weight, then I slimmed down a more more lean mass, because, you know, I don't want to be too heavy. I'm already six, too, and I carry my weight pretty, I would say differently, but like, some people seem to me a two or five. I'm like, yeah, I carry it differently. So I kind of just got more lean mass, and I feel more prepared bywise. My jam is a lot better. I don't get pushed off easier. My core is better. So I don't get bumped easy. That definitely helped a lot with summer now as the focus going to the season. You know, fall came, we're going to lose weight because all the heat and all the sweating, all the practices. So I just got to maintain it now. So you're at solid 205 now? Yes, sir. But what about speed-wise? I mean, I know they do all that testing. Where

3:24.3

are you speed-wise? I feel fast and ever more explosive. And, you know, growing up had, you know, muscle problems like groin and hemstrings. That's normal. But like now I don't have those. We do so much mobility and strength work, you know, I don't have no problem, really. Yeah, man. It's, you know, to kind of see the, the physical side of it, always knew you could run, run and jump.

3:46.4

I mean, you talk about those track competitions that you were always kind of ruling in the state of Virginia.

3:56.1

Now you add a college strength and conditioning program

3:59.3

to the fold. It just feels like the sky is the limit as far as that's concerned. And so now as you
