And of course, as we have all morning sort of resetting the day that was in Michigan, state of Michigan sports,

as the NBA draft is now officially in the books, two rounds. The Pistons got their pick in.

One, Mr. Chas Lanier at the University of Tennessee. A five-year college player,

and he made an interesting observation, one that picks up on something that Trasian Langdon said

about the changing dynamic of the NBA draft and what the second round is going to be in the age of NIL.

You know, we had seen how second rounders for years had, you could pop up, you could see, man, you can see this, they find great value in this, you know, this, this

player who hadn't quite gotten enough seasoning as a college player. Maybe he just came out

a little too soon. Need it to be ripened. You could draft a guy in the second round,

stash him in the G league and develop him.

Well, as you've heard Trajan Langdon now talk about

in a couple of different press conferences,

that guy just is not available in the draft anymore

because that guy is going back to school.

That guy, man, think about it.

How close was Danny Wolf?

Thank goodness he's not.

This is not Danny.

But how close was Danny Wolf to being like, damn it, man, maybe I should have gone back?

How close was he to being the guy that, man, take that NIL money and come back a year and maybe be a lottery pick?

You know, you think about it and the situation that we just saw Michigan, you know, they won the portal.
