You know what that music means. It means our guy Joe Simon, the Silver Fox, is here. Silver Fox. Joe thinks he's here because we want to talk NCAA stuff, which we do. We do. But we just want to hang out with Joe. That's really why he's here. We just want to hang out in eight days, Ms. We get to hang out in Joe's garage. I'm not ready. I know ready. I know you weren't even, there you go. There we go. Eight days, Joe. It's great to hear both of those pieces. You were the band yesterday, right? Or two days ago. Two days ago when I texted. You were the band from your office. Like the marching bands practicing at the stadium. Like, Joe's messaging me, and he's, like, all excited.

Like, you got me excited.

Like, and I didn't even hear it.

Like, I mean, Joe gets the, gets that luxury of being able to hear the band practice and whatnot. Like, stuff like that gets my juices kind of, you know, gets getting formed up. I'm right there with him. As I told Ira, I said, I'm kind of surprised at myself how jacked up I'm getting already

I'm getting already just by hearing the band, you know, play the victors and, you know, they went through a lot of their stuff. It was pretty cool. If Welcome Week wasn't such a disaster to drive around town, just if, unless you're a part of it, like, if it wasn't, I would drive, I would drive around to go, because the band practices and you, that's great stuff.

The other thing, Joe, before we get into the NCAA stuff, coming up on Monday, it will be the 50th anniversary of the release of Born to Run. Wow. You know, my friends and I have been talking about that a lot, Eric, because as you know, it was a big deal for me in my high school years. Yes,

I'm that old. I wasn't trying to age you as much as I know it's a big moment coming,

a big anniversary. That was the thing that hooked me and started my Springsteen fandom, which,

you know, was well before it was fashionable. There are, there are, um, thank you, Ms. I think I notice because of, because I'm turning 50 coming up in October, I think I notice all the things that are happening this year that are 50. So like tonight, the Allied Challenge, the senior champions tour event up in Grand Blank, they have the band War playing. Right. And it's the 50th anniversary of, why can't we be friends?

And so, like, there's all these things happening, and I see all these anniversaries in the board to run. I saw an article about it yesterday. I've thought of you. And of course, as you know, and I were talking beforehand, it's the 50th anniversary of the 1975 Michigan football team. And they're in town for a reunion, having a good time. They've got festivities going on tonight and this weekend.

And I always get a kick out of watching guys or I could be women's team soon. The athletes coming back. But when they get a chance to have these reunions, like I had earlier, what a few weeks ago with the Michigan men's basketball reunion and when you get a chance to bring these groups of players back and I just kind of sit back like a fly on the wall at times and just watch

them have their interactions just to see like I haven't seen you in forever and then you just

fall back into old habits and it's just fun to watch and I know they're having a great time

this weekend.

Well, let me let me talk about the significance of that team for those who may not remember.

So this was a team that was historical in many respects. First, Rick Leach came in and started

as a true freshman quarterback. That was, I think, the first time that happened. I don't know,

we'll have to ask

Dooley if that ever happened before, but certainly.

Freshman had only been eligible to play for like a year before that, so.

Right. So then, then, this is, the first year.
