Obviously, most of our attention yesterday was on Michigan men's and women's basketball and then the Super Bowl.

Prior to that, most of our attention was on Michigan hockey.

They're split with Michigan State over the weekend.

But I also spent a little bit of time following along other basketball that was going on

because there were some other significant basketball that was taking place.

And in particular, because if you look at Saturday, what Vandy was, I think, the only ranked team to lose at home.

By the only, you just happen to see the end of the Duke Carolina carolina game and then carolina's storms the floor twice

yeah i the only thing i caught of it was uh was was was uh was uh shire's uh comments after the game

oh sorry bi u also a ranked team lost at home but they lost to houston who was eighth in the country so

but shirey he talked about his play his coach is getting hit in the face or whatever, and that's a little excessive. Now, I'll be honest, I would never act on it, but, I mean, starting in his playing days, John Shire kind of is a guy that you kind of want to just, you know, he wouldn't mind getting to a little bit of fisticose with that guy. He just kind of, I don't know. But he's a good coach, dude. I don't get me wrong.

We used to make fun.

He used to call him Shireface because he had all these weird facial expressions on the floor, and they were like all these stills of him, Shireface. He probably still has him as a coach. But most of my attention on Saturday night, we were, obviously we were at the Michigan, Michigan State game at LCA, but also following along with some of the basketball.

And of course, in particular, the Michigan-Michigan State game at LCA, but also following along with some of the basketball.

And of course, in particular, the Michigan State Illinois game,

which I watched the end of when I got home from LCA.

At some point in time during the game,

it's a second straight Michigan State game where I get text messages from people about how dirty Jeremy Fears is.

And I'm like, well, the first message was he started. So let's start with that. Tantrum Tom didn't know what to do with Fears because he said, I don't do with this guy. So what did he do? He did nothing. He did absolutely nothing. And then Jeremy Fears tripped another dude. He stuck his leg out like legitimate, blatant, and there were no foul called. I don't really give a damn... It's stunning because the big ten officials need to be on notice. Like, tripping players is dangerous. It is not basketball. It is just dangerous. So, I don't know what to do with him because he's got a reel is back in.

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do.

And then, of course, he did absolutely nothing because why would Tantrum Tom do anything?

Now, on an aside, Michigan State beating Illinois on Saturday night was actually good for Michigan.
