Second half of a very busy Wednesday show starts out with our friend Michael Spath as we go inside

the huddle. Mike, good morning. How are you? I'm doing well, guys. I'm hanging out inside the

lobby of the Amway Grand here in Grand Rapids for a big event today.

It's a little rainy, but earlier in the week, I got up to treetops and played golf.

So, you know, it's been a pretty good week.

Yeah, the late arrival of fall, which I think is finally going to start coming at some point,

has actually been pretty nice.

Mike, the advanced forecast for this Saturday, I know it's calling for rain, I guess, starting later in the day. It's supposed to be 75 degrees at the game on Saturday. Oh, wow. Wow. I mean, yeah, you know, there's nobody in Michigan who can complain about the weather that we've had for the last couple of months, that's for sure. Yeah, but we are still reeling from the last sports weekend. Friday night, Tigers, Saturday night, Michigan, Sunday night Lions. It was a brutal sports weekend. We carried all three of those games here on the Big 1050 WTKA, and it was just some of the worst weekends of results that I can remember in a really long time.

We've had mixed weekends.

We've had really good weekends.

We've had some kind of bad weekends.

That was about as bad as it got.

Well, I mean, you're absolutely right. You know, all my friends, my brother, I mean, we all sit there and talk about things like this.

And the anticipation for the weekend when you had the Tigers in a game five,

when you had, you know, Michigan going out on the West Coast and a chance to really

solidify themselves as a, you know, maybe even a playoff team.

If they win that game, like they've got every opportunity to kind of move into that playoff discussion. And then certainly with the Lions, you know, maybe even a playoff team. If they win that game, like they've got every opportunity to kind of move into that

And then certainly with the Lions, you know, regular season game, not as big of a deal, but a good opportunity to go on the road. And so when they lost the way that they did, and I don't know, I don't know if you stayed up for it. I didn't stay up for a 15 in any loss. I went to bed after maybe like the fifth or six time that they left men on second

base and didn't get them in.

I think it was like the 12th inning.
