big 1050.com. It is time to go inside the huddle with our good friend, Mike Spath. And

unfortunately, I thought we'd be going inside the NFC championship huddle. Didn't quite work out that

way. Not quite as celebratory as i thought it would be mike

but that's the way the cookie crembles my friend good morning how are you yeah you know i was

a part of that raucous crowd on saturday night um you know i've been to a handful of

really really special in events in my life where the environment, the ambiance, the electricity inside the stadium was as strong as you're ever going to get in sports.

And I would say it felt that way on Saturday night.

That crowd was hyped up and ready to have a party, and it obviously did not go,

according to plan.

They ran into a very, very special talent, and, you know, injuries caught up with them,

and then like that 49ers game last year,

a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes from the offense that doomed up.

It's very, very disappointing and very frustrating at the lion's family.

Yeah, I think you've seen very, very well, Mike.

I think a combination of those things and the uncharacteristic showing.

And to unpack that, you know, the why.

I think we got to start with the injuries because I Mick Robertson getting hurt,

getting his arm broken on the second defensive snap.

I wonder if that contributed maybe to the mind.

This is my speculation on the matter.

I wonder if that contributed at least somewhat to the mindset on offense, to the pressing on offense that we saw
