Folks, you know, we have great partners in the community that do such a great job of helping members of this community when they're in need.

One of the partners that joins us often telling us about such a great event

that they have on an annual basis, our friends, over at Arbor Hospice and joining us this morning

again to tell us about one of their great events.

Their director of philanthropy, Emily Olson is with us from Arbor Hospice.

Emily, good morning. How are you? I'm having a great morning. Thanks for having us here today.

Well, thank you for joining us to tell us about Arbor Hospice and to also tell us about this event that you have coming up.

But before we get into the event, you know, obviously when you encounter families and in their time of need, this is, you know, it's a somber time, but a time that when you encounter them

and provide for them your services,

this is when you can help ease a strain and provide support and relief in the time of need.

So can you tell us about and tell the listeners about how you help folks in this time of need?

That's absolutely right.

You absolutely hit the nail on the head there.

We want to bring dignity, comfort, compassion to those folks at the end of life.

But we really want people to get to know us and to call us before there's a time of crisis.

So we have ways to really wrap our arms around a patient and their

family, educate them about what to expect, provide all kinds of care, whether it's hospice

aid at the bedside, taking care of some of those basic needs. We have nurses who are on call.

We have folks that are available 24-7,

spiritual care, grief support, and then extra special services like music therapy, massage.

We have people coming around with their pets to provide joy and comfort in that way.
