And it's time to talk some Michigan softball, you know, looking to bounce back.

And they did as they got back on the winning track, experiencing some winning ways

and joining us to reflect upon that and look ahead to this series with Northwestern.

It's Michigan softball coach Bonnie Thorpe, Bonnie. Good morning. How are you?

I'm doing well, Sam. It's been an exciting week for Michigan athletics,

and I want to first acknowledge how awesome it is for our basketball teams and the runs

that they've been having. I know it didn't end quite well as we wanted for Kim and the

women's team, but what an amazing season they really had. And now we're still in it with the men's

team and looking at ice hockey as well. So it's been a pretty exciting week. And that's not even

to mention the men's and women swim teams in the championship

the top 10 finishes there so yeah a lot of great things going on in the michigan athletic world

and uh just so happy to be a part of it and uh yeah the ball diamond where we are we are are busy on campus, that's for sure.

Yeah.

So exciting stuff happening.

Yeah, it can be, you know, that can be an infectious thing on campus, the winning ways, right?

And so you guys, as I said in the intro, looking to get some positive momentum.

And you were able to do that.

You won now.

You won the Purdue series, went out and got the one against Oakland.
