We get back to Michigan football wide receiver recruiting, Sam Webb and Bryce Maritch.

So you talk about swinging for the fences.

A name that they haven't heard, Michigan fans probably haven't heard as much.

Michigan also taking a shot at the number three receiver in the country.

You were even more surprised by this one, Bryce, than you were Tristan Keyes, who was the number

one receiver, but the number three receiver in the country

out of Miami Northwestern High School, 6-5, 195 pounds, the number 18 player overall,

Calvin Russell, you know, a guy who is the son of a former University of Miami

women's college basketball player.

So when you initially mentioned his name to me, I was having flashbacks of former recruiting

battles down the state of Florida that Michigan has gone and then lost, like a Raylan Wilson, a Chris Ewald,

and even a guy, and I'm not saying he's decommitted, but it's a lot more work now,

Brody Jennings, try to keep him in the fold of just how many programs have now courted him.

And I think it's a different beast when you're recruiting guys, especially in South Florida, right?

I just, they seem to be very eager to play the recruiting game, so to speak, and have fun and go through the process more so than sometimes other prospects in certain areas.

And so, yeah, Utah about uphill battle.

This is one where, as far as I know, they don't have a visit lined up.

He doesn't have a visit lined up to Michigan quite yet.

I know Michigan is for sure working on trying to get them up

this spring or summer. We're going to see if that happens. But yeah, that, that one is just,
