Mike, good morning. How are you?

I'm doing well, Sam. You sound like you've got a little of a lost voice.

Are you still recovering from yelling at the Pistons performance on Friday night?

You know what, in a way, yes, but not that loss.

You know, my voice is still recovering from last week where it was totally gone.

It was totally shot, Mike.

I couldn't speak at all.

Attempted to.

So this is actually me on the mend.

So feeling better.

But I wonder how you feel about the Pistons in the aftermath of the season.

Big picture, how much of a step forward was it, and how much farther do you think they

can go with this core group?

Oh, well, I mean, look, I understand how frustrating it is at the end of a season when you feel like your team came up short, especially in a game seven where they played as poorly as they did and never really gave themselves an opportunity.

You look at the series and you really should have won game five.

You blew a nine-point lead in the final two and a half minutes.

Even in game four, you came back and you tied the game 104, 104, and then, you know, completely

capitulated after that. So, like, it feels like there was more for this team to achieve than what

they were able to. You know, that said, if you look at the grand scheme of things, how much fun

did we have throughout most of the season when they were winning 60 games and blowing teams out?
