Summary

On this edition - we stay at the Stanley Hotel, one of America's most haunted locations. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado is best known as the inspiration for Stephen King's The Shining. Its gilded age origin and lore paired with its distinctly elevated location make it feel like the quintessential haunted hotel. Paranormal Investigator Connor Randall has a "3" tattooed on his wrist. It symbolizes the three hearts he's had. The one he was born with, and the two that were donated. Karl Pheiffer broke out as a "para-celeb" when he won Ghost Hunter's Academy. A reality TV spin-off to the popular Ghost Hunter's television series. Long before the two would work together at the Stanley, making friends with spirits and guiding tourists through dark ballrooms in search of disembodied voices, Connor would root for Karl on TV. Having not yet met each other but both being from Colorado it was a natural choice. Are people, like places, haunted? Do we carry spirits with us and if so, can we communicate with them? We experiment with cutting-edge techniques and tools in my 4th-floor room to search for the answer to those questions. While I was in that room one night I brought a group in just sort of thinking like hey it's a general fourth floor room kind of funny

room once because that was the room that I was supposed to stay in after the investigation.

2:08.8

They would give me rooms up here sometimes and I couldn't get it open. I'm sitting there I'm jiggling the handle. I'm like

2:15.3

throwing my weight against this door. It's like three in the morning. I call up

the on-desk security kind of guy. He comes up here. He can't get it open either and he looks

over at me and he goes, Connor, I think it's latched from the inside. And I was like, okay,
