WTKA online at the big 1050.com. Michigan versus Oklahoma. Biggest game at the college football weekend is, of course, tomorrow night. 744 is the official kick time. 3.30 is your start time with the chap on-site fuel and counting on a kickoff here on the big 1050. WTKA online at the big 1050.com. One of the fun things that we love to do

0:22.2

this time of year around here, these parts is to bring in auction winners. And over the years,

0:28.5

we've had auction winners from Swink to Cure Diabetes and from the Saline Area Foundation for

0:34.5

the Foundation for Saline Area Schools and others.

0:38.1

But maybe the one that we have supported the longest and the most and having

0:41.9

auctioned winners come in and hanging out and being co-hosts is with the Chad Tuff Foundation.

0:46.5

And coincidentally, I've actually bumped into Tammy Carr a couple times recently.

0:49.3

We, of course, watched CJ Car play.

0:52.4

His collegiate debut as a starting quarterback for Notre Dame in the game against Miami. He held his own. He didn't get a lot of help. But we have our Chad Tuff auction winner of this year is coming in. He is in, in fact, Adam Wise. Adam, good morning. How are you? Good. How are you doing today? Doing great to have you here on the show. So you brought your buddy Alan with you.

1:10.9

Alan, good morning.

1:11.5

How are you?

1:11.9

Good morning.

1:47.9

It's great to have you guys. So Alan, for you go, let's start back. Let's go back and just kind of take us to the Genesis. Your participation with the Chattaheuf Foundation and what brings you in this morning. Yeah, sure. So I met Tammy maybe seven or eight years ago when the foundation was quite nascent. It just thought it was great what they were working on and trying to accomplish. And it's been really fun to see it grow and turn into what it is today. It was a pretty remarkable thing. We were talking before we came on the air. And we've talked a few times on the air here now over the last little less than a month because it was a little less than a month ago that we learned about their breakthrough with unc 201 and the research started at michigan and the

1:53.1

monies came uh i believe both from the chad tuff foundation and the charles woodson fund which

1:57.7

we do a lot of support here on the show and in the stretch of time that the Chad Tough Foundation, obviously, it's a tragedy that

2:04.3

leads to its creation.

2:06.0

And it's heartbreaking when we used to hear about there is no anything for these kids.

2:11.4

And now we're starting to get some breakthroughs and maybe some great news coming through,

2:16.1

which that was really cool to hear in the last month. And so I know you've a big participant. And all of our listeners, I think a lot of our listeners have donated money and participated with the Chad Tough Foundation. They've got an event coming up, of course, later on this month. The Run Tough for Chad Tough event is coming up later on this month as well. So we appreciate your great support of the Chad Tuff Foundation.

2:34.7

And that, of course, allows you to come in and hang out and be in the studio.

2:38.5

And you guys get to come in and be co-hosts and pick a good weekend and do it.
