Second major, the golf season is this week, the PGA Championship at Arana Mink Golf Club at Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

Not going to spend too much time on this, but the course has amazing history.

Now, only one other major has ever been played there.

It was in 1962.

Gary Player won the PGA at Arana Mink back in the N62.

But the course was designed back in the 20s.

It is a really old historic course.

They were supposed to host the PGA in 1993, but that was in the window of time where courses were either self-selecting out or being

eliminated from contention of hosting events because of their membership restrictions.

And I believe they at the time were very restrictive, i.e. had no black members. And that has since

changed and they finally get back into the mix so their first major championship to host

since 1962.

It is a par 70.

It is 7,394 yards

which means it's really long.

Yeah.

Insanely long.

It's got 180 sand traps littered all around the course.

There's only 18 holes on a golf course. There's 180 traps. That's an average of 10. So you could have three around the green and eight on the fairway and two. Like, I don't even how you would get. That's a lot of sand traps. That is a lot. That's a lot of sand. That's like, you probably have like five or six or, oh man,

that's a lot of sand.
