Today we're going to be talking about trust, regaining trust. And the title indicates

that perhaps somewhat counterintuitively, regaining trust is really a two-way street, not a one-way street.

So we'll be talking about regaining trust in the context of one or both partners having an affair. However, the steps that we're going to

go over can really be used for any kind of betrayal of trust. It doesn't have to

be an affair and I'll be using my work with couples who've had affairs as examples,

but I'll also be commenting from time to time about how that might look,

simply if it's a conflict with a friend or between a parent and child, not necessarily
