And Ira, you know, a lot has changed in 30 or so years.

I mean, we talk about it all the time.

The Big Ten has, and the SEC, the membership has ballooned.

College players get paid. I mean, it is so different, right? Major League Baseball, I think,

is very different. Now, too, now, the structure of Major League Baseball is not different at all.

There's no salary cap. Players have boundless incomes.

Now, the halves are killing it. The big market, big budget teams, are you realize they've won

the last 10 World Series? You realize that's the last 10 world series

have been dictated by basically how much you spent?

You know, the muddy ball, the strategy I can piece me on my way.

No, that's not a thing.

And so yesterday, the Major League Baseball owners, they proposed a salary cap.

This isn't a novel concept.

The other leagues have it.

Major League Baseball last proposed it, oh oh about 32 years ago in 1994 and there was a work

stoppage and it feels to me ire like at that time fans were on the side of the players.

You tell me what your recollection is, but I felt like fans widely sided with the players.

It was one of the reasons that whole thing ended without acquiescing to the needs, to the demands, to the request, demand requests, whatever you want to call it,

of ownership.

But has that changed?
