And so now as we put the month of May behind us, get into the month of June, the NBA season coming to a close.

You know, we're looking at from a local perspective,

looking at, hey, what do you got to do to take that next step, right? As you look at these last few teams, there's been conversation about what do you do

with regard to Jalen Duren, and you guys know my

opinion on that.

I've been very, very clear that I think he's a very good player.

I think that he deserves more money, a bigger contract, but you can't max him out.

And I'm even more certain of that now that we see the NBA finals set.

Sam, I'll give you a, I was thinking about JD,

and I briefly mentioned this earlier this morning.

I was thinking about JD when game seven happened,

and you had a guy making a contract that JD is trying to get,

show up with four points and four rebounds.

Dude, exactly, Mr. Weintra.

You know where I'm going with it. Because for those that want to know the numbers, let me present the numbers. Chet Holmgren's five year, $239.3 million extension kicks in this summer. So next year, $41.3 million, then it's 44.6, then it's 47.9, then it's 51.2, and then it's 54.5. That's the contract over the next five years for Chet Holmgren, who in Game 7, in the biggest game of his career, essentially, to this, well, I guess they went to a model later, but the biggest game of the year, he had four points, four rebounds. You would think that Mama and Papa Wine Tribe were my Mama and Papa. How in line we are? It was in my notes, right? I had it ready for you. I think we're the same and papa. How, with how in line we are.

I mean, we're the same way, believe, Mr. Weintra. That's what jumped more than anything else. Well, the second part. The first part is I didn't want any, I wanted no Hardin, and I want to know SGA in the finals. The least amount of floppers possible. But the second thing that I really noticed was he didn't show up.

And he needed to have a big game because he's one of their most. He averages 17, 18 points a game, about 10 rebounds a game. And to go four and four in a game seven, that's what the JD conversation. And how many shots? Not a ton. I think he only took four shots, Ira. Yeah, it. All the numbers were really low. All the numbers were really low, except he still played 30-something minutes at the game. He was on the floor. 30 minutes. I think he took four shots. Man, listen. Chet is a guy we've been covering since his freshman year in high school. It's not a knock. It's just a point of comparison. Sam, actually,

he was to afford the free throw line.
