And so during yesterday's show, we were doing the midweek peak with Steve Clark.

And Ira, he came over a headset and he said,

Dev just retired. And it, you know, you hear something over the headset and he said, Dev just retired.

And you know, you hear something over the headset and he talks over the headset all the time while we're live.

And I'm used to, I can keep going as he's talking.

You know, it's that happens to.

Usually cues like so-and-so is ready on the phone or we've got to go to break or whatever it might be.

Usually radio things, not usually jarring news.

Yeah, yeah.

So I can, I can flow.

I can keep going as he's talking.

No, I stopped you in your tracks yesterday and I didn't mean to.

Yeah, stop me on my track yesterday when he said, Beth just retired.

And I literally said, what?

And he said, Beth just retired.

And, you know, there's these moments that, like you say, stop you in your tracks.

And it was this, it was, you know, oddly emotional moment, you know, that you react to something and you don't expect.

And I say oddly emotional because it was, you don't expect the reaction that you have in the moment.

Like you expect to to, you expect to say, you know, you expect to celebrate someone and, and, and to, you said, but you did, I didn't expect to react the way that I reacted in the moment when we heard that Bev after 36 years was deciding to retire.

And then certainly when we heard the reason why she retired, it even added more to the emotion.
