So the headlining game last Saturday in the Big 10, of course, was Michigan versus

Penn State versus Oregon, top six matchup, number six Oregon at number three Penn State.

Penn State got exactly what they wanted.

I mean, James Franklin even talked about it leading up to the game.

He talked about having how the night game is much better than the day game.

They wanted the night game.

They wanted the white out at night against a top opponent.

This is what they wanted.

They were tired of facing Michigan or Ohio State or whoever it was.

It's a top five team in Happy Valley at noon. They didn't like the big noon kickoff. They wanted the night game. They wanted that extra atmosphere. That would be the big difference maker for Penn State. That's what's going to put them over the top, I guess. I don't know. I guess James Franklin leads whatever help you can get. And then the game, as it started playing out, it's actually pretty remarkable.

The game started playing out after a little bit of a slow start because there's no scoring

in the first quarter.

And then eventually you get to Penn State as a field goal.

It's 3-0 early second quarter.

And then it takes another about 10 minutes before Oregon gets on the board.

And it's 3-3 at the

half. So the game is probably going the way Penn State wants it to go even more so maybe

than Oregon does because at least in a low-scoring game defense of battle Penn State probably

feels they have a better opportunity in that one. Then the game starts really going the way Sam,

we expect a Penn State game to go where it goes

in Oregon's direction.
