The Michigan football defensive breakdown.

And so now up front, you said that you didn't see a whole lot of playmaking.

In the past, in the past, when you saw that, you said, Sam, it got to twist the front.

I got to twist the front.

Now, I saw them do that a couple times.

Was that sporadic?

Did they only do that occasionally?

Or did they do that a lot and it just wasn't getting home? They did it occasionally. The thing about in the past, when I look at those guys, that's going back about two or three years ago. So we got to twist the front to get more pressure and we started doing that. With these guys right now, we don't have two guys inside, in my opinion, they can do with the guys did the last two years. We don't have those kind of guys. So therefore, you got to do different things to put them in position to make place. You've got to move them a little bit. When I worked in Michigan before, both Timbeth, I always said this for defensive lineland. Give them a three-way go. Don't let them sit there and get double team the whole game because if he does, he's not going to be a happy guy.

So you move to the left, moving to the right, and then go vertical do different things. And I think as a season progresses, we need to do more of that with the two interior guys to protect those guys so they feel like, hey, we can make some plays also. Yeah. Yeah, and here's the fact of the matter, Vance.

I mean, I think that your big-time players just are going to have to show up more.

You know, they just have to play big time in the big games.

And I think there's, we've seen against Bama, some of the guys that maybe you didn't hear their names called against New Mexico.

Their names were called against Bama.

So I just expect certain guys to play better this week.

The thing about that, Sam, if you go back to the Bama game, Ohio State game, they were backing up two first round picks. So they weren't counting on to be the guy. Now, guess what? They got to be the man right now. That's a whole different story right now. I go from being a guy, guy giving me 20 snaps of game to now, I'm the man. I got to where the big boy suspenders right now and that's a

different attitude now because you're starting the game so to come off the bench so now it's more

pressure on you because of that situation right now and watching our guys you know we had some backups

in there in the third quarter they kind of got pushed around by new Mexico inside. And I was really surprised about that. You know, so against Oklahoma, you're going to play against a better office line now. And so we got to be ready. I know Wink going to have some stuff now. He won't go into his bag of tricks. He might be, he might best a trainer. Who knows? I mean, we've got all kind of

stuff going on. So he's going to be ready for these guys. Yeah, call me, Tuasami, Tuasi
