So coming up at noon today, we're going to hear the end of season awards for the Big 10 men's basketball.

And then, of course, tomorrow we get the Big Ten men's basketball tournament underway down in Indianapolis.

Michigan gets underway in action on Friday.

And I'm a big believer of this time of year of momentum.

And you can end a regular season on negative momentum and find something this week and

flip it during your conference tournament.

I find it a lot harder to go through the end of the regular season and then struggle

in your conference tournament and then kind of jumpstart it in March in the big dance.

But it does happen.

I find that to be a little bit harder.

Usually it's at the end of the regular season, you find something.

For example, the Michigan women's basketball team, they go on the road against and play at Illinois in a game that if you win, you get the five seed.

And if you lose, you're down to maybe the nine seed.

I think it could have, it would end up as like the seven,

but they could have fallen as low as nine in their circumstance.

And it's a tough game on the road against a team that's going to the NCAA tournament.

And they went and played a really strong game on the road,

especially down the stretch.

And then they carried that momentum. It felt like into Indianapolis played well on Thursday, Friday, and even on Saturday,

or on Saturday in the loss.

They played for at least three plus quarters.
