Such a part of the fabric of this community, the fundraising community, the Charles

Woodson Clinical Research Fund.

So much great work over the year since Since 2009, more than 9,500

donors have made a gift to the Charles Wilson Clinical Research Fund, resulting in 2.6 million

research project seeding funding, 1.1 million Woodson Lab infrastructure, 1.6 million recruitment and retention for top researchers and 6.5 million research endowment.

You're talking about tremendous, tremendous support for research, tremendous support for the most innovative minds

in the field of research when it comes to cutting edge medical treatments.

And one of those minds, one of those brilliant minds, joins us this morning. Dr. Stephen Gorga

Doing great. Glad that you can join us and talk about the Charles Woodson Clinical Research Fund, the Woodson Fund known around these parts,

the great events this week, and of course, the Golf on Maine coming up this Friday.

But the impact on you and the impact on research is really what I wanted to touch on this

morning, especially around these times.

You can really lend voice to just how important research dollars are and just how important

the Woodson Fund is in this particular instance.

Yeah, absolutely.

I mean, the Woodson Fund is such a gem and an opportunity that we have as researchers.
