We are here following Michigan's win last night.

8775 over Northwestern at the Chrysler Center. Also last night, Maryland won at home 7770. Bad loss for Iowa. It's a bad loss for Iowa. Ohio State won at home over USC 89, 82. As Ohio State is flirting with the bubble, they have to keep on winning. and Penn State in a battle of sub 500 teams.

Well, Washington is now a sub-500 team because they lost last night. Penn State got their first win of the Big Ten season, first road win of the Big Ten season for the Nittany Lions last night out in Washington, 6360. Tonight, there are no Big Ten men's basketball games. Tomorrow night, there's another big one in the top of the standings. Michigan State tomorrow night is at Wisconsin. That's a big game tomorrow night. Now, I do want to mention on the women's side last night. There were some significant games last night. Of course, we know tonight the Michigan women's basketball team, they're in Evanston to play at Northwestern. That game is at 9 o'clock. You can watch it on NBC Sports. You can watch it on Peacock. But also tonight, 20th ranked Maryland host Penn State at 7, Minnesota host Nebraska 8, U.S. host Indiana at 10. Obviously, our attention is on the Michigan at Northwestern game at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. But last night, Ms. did you see what happened?

There were a couple of significant results in the Big Ten.

You did have Illinois beating Wisconsin, 9260.

But Iowa needed to, they needed a little bit of a bounce back because Iowa had lost at USC, at UCLA, which, I mean, everybody loses UCLA.

But then they lost it home to Minnesota. It's kind of like their West Coast trip cost them again. And they had been on a three-game losing streak after they had been, they had some really good wins before that. They had won a bunch of games in a row since losing to Yukon. They had won a bunch of big 10 games in a row. They had won a big win over Michigan State.

They had one on the road at Maryland.

They had a really big dominant win over Ohio State.

Then they went into the three games skid Iowa did,

but they beat Washington last night, 6556 in Iowa City.

And so the Iowa women's basketball team,

they needed that win last night, getting off to Schneide.

The other game last night was UCLA's second game of their state of Michigan trip.

And this game was a no-datter.
